Pastor Lorenzo B. Webber & Lady Amber Marie Webber

Pastor Lorenzo & Lady Amber Marie are a divine dynamic duo dedicated to serving God and empowering people to reach their full potential in Christ.

Together they are dedicated spiritual leaders who have devoted their lives to exemplifying leadership, compassion, and servanthood. Their mission is not confined to inside the walls of the church but extends beyond to bring about a Kingdom of God Culture to impact the wider community.

Their journey in ministry is marked by significant roles and contributions. They served on the founding ministry leadership team of Empowerment Church, under the leadership of Pastor Theodore Matthews. This position allowed them to shape the direction of the church and influence its early development.

Pastor Lorenzo serves as Chief of Staff to Bishop Dr. Reginald J. Saffo, chairman of the Proviso Township Ministerial Alliance Network. He also serves as a Chaplain for the Maywood Police Department. These roles allow Pastor Lorenzo to provide spiritual care and leadership in the larger community of faith.

Lady Amber Marie is faithfully active in her role as wife, mother, and leader within the marketplace. Her passion for social justice, education reform, and autoimmune disease awareness shows in all that she does.

In addition to their ministry work, Pastor Lorenzo and Lady Amber Marie are loving parents to their incredible children Alani, Adam, and Amerie.

rEMEMBERING OUR FOUNDER the late pastor JAMES e. WASHINGTON

Pastor James E. Washington Jr. founded Shekinah Glory Christian Ministries in 2016 as a Christ-centered relationship church. He faithfully led Shekinah Glory Christian Ministries with sound biblical teaching and implemented programs that allowed it to remain true to its motto of being a church without walls. In 2023 Pastor James E. Washington Jr. was called home to be with the Lord. Before passing he solicited the assistance of Rev. Lorenzo B. Webber and named him to be his successor. Pastor James Washington leaves an immense impact and legacy in this faith community and those connected to it.

Hey Family

Happy New Year, SGCM! God has been faithful, and by His grace, He has led us into another year. After much prayer and a season of corporate fasting, the Lord has clearly placed our theme for this year on my heart: Hope.

The biblical definition of hope is the sure and confident expectation of receiving what God has promised in the future. Hope is referenced over one hundred times throughout the Holy Scriptures, and Isaiah 40:31 assures us that those who place their hope in the Lord will experience renewed strength, divine elevation, enduring perseverance, and fortified faith.

This ministry is uniquely positioned to be a conveyor of hope to everyone we encounter. I invite you to join me in this mission—to make this a year in which those who have lost hope rediscover it, those who possess hope freely share it, and those who need hope know exactly where to find it.
