At Shekinah Glory Christian Ministries, we believe giving is an act of worship, trust, and partnership with God. Biblical giving is not rooted in obligation, but in a heart that honors God and supports the work of His Kingdom through the local church.

Tithes

A tithe represents giving the first and best back to God. Scripture teaches that tithing acknowledges God as our source and sustainer.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse…” — Malachi 3:10

“Honor the Lord with your wealth…” — Proverbs 3:9

Tithes support the daily ministry of the church, including worship, teaching, pastoral care, outreach, and community service.

Offerings

Offerings are voluntary gifts given above and beyond the tithe. They are an expression of gratitude and obedience, often directed toward special initiatives, missions, and benevolence.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7

Financial Stewardship

Stewardship is the faithful management of what God has entrusted to us. It includes wise planning, intentional living, and consistent generosity.

“It is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2

Advancing the Kingdom

When members give faithfully, they partner in advancing God’s Kingdom—helping the church disciple believers, care for the community, and share the Gospel locally and beyond.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

At SGCM, we teach stewardship not to burden people, but to build faith, cultivate generosity, and support life-changing ministry.
